Comptons
The Grande Dame of Old Compton Street, built on the site of the 200-year-old Swiss Hotel, Comptons has been at the epicentre of the gay scene since 1986. A welcoming beacon through the tough times of the late 80s and 90s, Comptons became famous for the throngs of gay men drinking on the street outside the venue. Now one of London’s most-celebrated LGBTQIA+ venues, Comptons remains the steadfast heart of gay Soho and will be standing proud for many years to come.

Kings Arms
With a long and proud history as a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community, it’s no wonder we’re Soho’s oldest gay bar. As firm favourite to the Bear community over the years, they affectionately call us ‘The KA’, and refer to us as ‘London’s Favourite Bear Bar’.
We’ve something for everyone from our midweekly Quiz night, Cabaret, Dragaoke and our new LGBTQIA+ Open-mic night. At weekends we have Guest & Resident DJ’s playing disco, house and electro beats and not forgetting our Legendary Bearaoke (it's been going for over 20 years!)

Bar Soho
Bar Soho is a funky late-night and cocktail bar in the heart of London. With baths for seats, mirrored walls and plenty of rooms to dance or hire out privately, it's the place to be seen in Soho.
The atmosphere is chilled during the day, the ideal spot to enjoy an expertly crafted cocktail and a bit of people watching. At night, the DJs come in so you can fill the floor and dance until late.
Retro Bar
Tucked away down a little alley, this hidden gem is one of the West End’s friendliest gay venues. Occupying a site which has been a pub since the 17th century, Retro Bar has been a secret haven for the eccentric and the alternative LGBTQIA+ crowd since the 90s. Famous for our Insta-friendly rock ’n’ roll ‘gallery’ walls and eclectic jukebox, covering everything from disco treats to sleazy beats, we’re proud to be a safe and welcoming space for those who feel that they don’t quite fit in anywhere else.
Halfway 2 Heaven
Loved and cherished by the LGBTQIA+ community since 1991, Halfway to Heaven is the perfect pairing of local bar upstairs and magical cabaret venue downstairs. This little gem is jam-packed with fabulous, flamboyant cabaret, seven days a week, from the best in the business. Offering fun, love, light and laughter to regulars and newcomers alike, the friendly staff are always ready to welcome you into Halfway to Heaven’s warm embrace.
Two Brewers
Proudly serving the LGBTQIA+ community since 1981, the legendary Two Brewers has been at the heart of London’s gay scene for 40 years. One of the capital’s most famous drag cabaret venues, our iconic show bar and club hosts fabulous, glitter-filled cabaret extravaganzas – seven nights a week, 365 days a year. If you love lip-sync, can’t wait for the quiz, kill it at karaoke or want to dance ’til dawn, we’ll be waiting to welcome you here at the Two Brewers every night of the week.
